Cattle Drives
For those looking for that working ranch experience of a cattle drive, there are certain weeks we are likely to move cattle. These dates may change slightly from year-to-year, so its best to check with us when planning your trip:

- The weeks of September 4 and September 11

Photography Workshops
Take advantage of special photography workshops hosted by award winning Western photographer Barbara Van Cleve. Guests participating in these workshops also stay at the ranch for the week, enjoying all of the other activities available. Digital Photography Techniques (Dates TBD)
This workshop will teach you both basics and more advanced tricks on the use of your digital camera. Please bring your manual, if you have it. Basics will include learning how shutter speed, aperture and ISO all work together. You will learn how changing these setting creates different effects to get the picture you want. We’ll shoot primarily in the manual mode, so you are learning to set aperture, shutter speed, the color balance and determine the proper metering. We’ll work on design and composition of your photos. You will be photographing all the ranch activities, animals, cattle work, people and landscapes. Book through Sweet Grass Ranch.
Adult-Only Weeks
For three weeks each summer, the Sweet Grass Ranch features adult-only getaways. During these weeks, all ranch activities are the same, just without the kiddos.
