The Family

Today, Sweet Grass Ranch is still family-owned and operated. The Carroccias’ children, Page, Rocco, and Tony, live and work on the guest ranch or cattle ranch, helping with all aspects of the operations. Their oldest son, J., just retired from 23 years in the Marine Corps. He and his family visit as often as they can, his sons, Kris, Josh and Gio have spent many summers at the ranch. Bill and Shelly’s numerous grandchildren are the sixth generation of family on these lands.

 

Page & Pat – and their kids Erin & Connor

Page, her husband Pat, and their two children, Erin and Connor, live at Sweet Grass during the guest season, offering a helping hand to Bill and Shelly in operating the guest ranch.

 

Rocco & Annie – and their kids Rainy, Lilianna & Ryal

Rocco, his wife Annie, and their kids, Rainy, Lily, and Ryal, live at the cattle ranch. Rainy, Lily and Ryal are frequently at Sweetgrass during the summer, helping out wherever needed. 

 

Tony & Laura – and their kids Orry, Zandy & Juliet

Tony, his wife Laura, and kids, Orry, Zandy and Juliet live at Sweet Grass during the guest season, helping with all ranch operations. Tony provides frequent musical entertainment during the summer. 

 

J & Annette – and their kids Kris, Josh, Rouaine and Gio

J. and Annette live in Twenty-Nine Palms. Their oldest son, Kris, his wife, Stefani and their son, Julian, live in Okinawa where Kris works for the Air Force. Josh lives in Big Timber and is usually at Sweetgrass on the weekends. Gio works as a wrangler during the summer and goes to college in Bozeman. Rouaine just got married. Kris and Josh spent many years here growing up while J. was deployed and the family visits whenever they get a chance.
